Every suite features a separate bedroom (twin or double configuration), a minibar, and a living room with either a sofa or two huge sofa beds (the latter in the family suites). The spacious en suite bathroom has a free standing bath, a large indoor shower, twin hand basins, a hairdryer, and a separate WC. Ecca Lodge arranged their room configuration to best suit families and couples alike; offering 3 family suites and 3 double suites. The family suites have day beds/sofas in the lounge area for children. Families with children aged 0 – 16 years are accommodated in a family suite (maximum 2 adults & 2 children per family suite). The walls are made of wood panelling, interspersed with mesh-covered stone gabion and pagoda-style corrugated iron roofs. The bedroom, living room and bathroom of the suites at Ecca Lodge all have sliding doors leading out onto a large private veranda, decorated with cacti and indigenous succulents in tall clay pots. Shindzela Tented Camp Tented safari camp in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, Greater Kruger National Park 1/12 Location Timbavati Game Reserve, Greater Kruger National Park DESCRIPTION: Situated within the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve in the Greater Kruger National Park in South Africa, Shindzela offers guests an authentic African wildlife experience. The eco-friendly (solar-powered) and unfenced, a place where one can feel part of the bush. Shindzela is passionate about conservation and the staff strive to make guests feel right at home. The aim is to provide an enjoyable and fulfilling experience in an exceptional wilderness area. Shindzela is situated on a private concession area (approx. 6500ha) within the Timbavati Reserve in the Greater Kruger National Park. This means there are no fences between the areas traversed by our guides and the Kruger National Park! This means animals have got free movement within this magnificent Greater Kruger. We are lucky enough to drive off-road into the bush following (with a respectful distance) any of the Big five animals that we may encounter. The Timbavati Reserve offers an array of different types of vegetations, bird and animal life! The safari-style tents are situated under thatch (grass-roof structures) and can be made up in either twin or double-bedded accommodation. Enjoy your morning coffee on your wooden deck or freshen up in your semi-open en-suite bathroom (shower, WC and hand basin).
