Besides the reserve’s status as one of the few locations in which it is possible to spot all of Africa’s iconic Big 5, the region also has more than 50 species of mammals. For the dedicated bird watchers, the region boasts in excess of 300 species of birds.


Apart from being unusually spacious, each of the 5 suites has been furnished to the very highest standards, and features a king-sized bed and its own private patio with a magnificent view of the Welgevonden bushveld.
