Location

Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Baobab Ridge 17.jpg
DESCRIPTION:
Insika, pronounced In-see-ca, is an isi-Ndebele word meaning “Pillar of Strength”, and speaks of the wonder of Victoria Falls which shoots up a pillar of cloud that, at certain times of the year, can be seen from as far as 50 kilometers away.

The lodge offers guests lovely two sleeper Signature and Luxury rooms that are furnished with king-size beds, that can convert to twins in some rooms, and modern bathrooms with freestanding baths, walk-in showers and bathroom amenities. The Luxury rooms have lovely garden views and the Signature rooms face the stream or waterhole. The air-conditioned rooms contain bar fridges, tea and coffee-making facilities, desk, Wi-Fi access and open onto a patio with comfortable outdoor furniture.

The main lodge area provides a variety of living spaces from which to appreciate the astounding natural beauty of the area. Expansive decks deepen connections with the landscape and our firepit and bar deli overlook the woodland to provide the perfect setting for delicious meals served by our expert chefs using locally grown and organic ingredients, and fireside storytelling. Guests can cool down in the swimming pool or visit the spa for a relaxing treatment.

Insika gives an authentic spa experience for the relaxation of mind, body, and soul. Treatments include massage, body wrap, facial, manicure, or pedicure, and are skillfully delivered by local therapists. Paired with the natural setting of the lodge’s gardens, the spa is a place of peace and rejuvenation.

Situated 3km from town and surrounded by National Parks, Insika offers a nature setting that is close enough to town to enjoy all that Victoria Falls has to offer. Insika offers complimentary transfers run into the Victoria Falls town centre and to the entrance of the Falls itself on a regular schedule.

Embedded in nature - A boutique hotel that's hard to beat!
The main lodge area provides expansive decks and a plus sized infinity pool overlooking a Mopani woodland and waterhole. Watch warthogs and antelope go about their day while enjoying Insika hospitality or take a walk through the spacious gardens discovering secluded spots teeming with prolific bird life.

As the sun sets the firepit and bar deli provide the perfect setting for delicious meals and fireside storytelling.
Restaurant and wine cellar:
With a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients the restaurant offers a rolling chef’s special menu which changes each day to ensure that every meal is unique. From organic Matabeleland steaks, freshly caught local tilapia and venison to tasty vegetarian and vegan options, Insika offers an exceptional food experience which can be paired with quality wines from the cellar.
