Our island lodge offers the perfect blend of island-style vacationing and African safari experiences
Around 21 kilometres upstream from the mighty Victoria Falls, situated in the middle of the roaring Zambezi River, lies an island like few others. At 1.4 kilometres in length, Chundu Island offers that ‘total privacy’ feeling you get when stepping onto a secluded, private island. The surrounding wilderness forms part of the Zambezi National Park, with Chundu Island lying smack-bang on the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia. Our island lodge offers the perfect blend of island-style vacationing and African safari experiences, with activities to suit all family members.

Being reachable only by boat, it's an ideal place to escape the tourist hordes. The ambience is rightfully soothing, and we love the laid-back look and feel of the private suites sheltered by the riverine trees which dot the island banks.
