The 21 up-market and tastefully appointed tented units each have spectacular views over the landscape and mountains beyond. The tents are well spaced for total privacy and include an en-bathroom, veranda and outdoor shower with great views of the bushveld. The 21 tents are split into 8 Family Unit tents and 13 Standard Units (2 sleepers). The original tents are located on raised wooden platforms and are full canvas constructions whilst some recent additions are on a cement base with solid walls up to ceiling level and a canvas roof. The rooms lie scattered across a hillside overlooking the reserve – and they’re widely spaced so that privacy is excellent. You can enjoy stunning views of the sunrise from your balcony, but it’s really the tent’s spacious interiors that will likely have you purring in pleasure with their hardwood floors, comfy beds and romantic stand-alone bath tubs! Air-conditioning is in place to take the edge off the summer heat whilst heaters and electric blankets are in place to keep you toasty and warm during winter.

The main lodge is much in the traditional game lodge style with an expansive thatched roof enclosing the reception, curio shop, dining room, bar and lounge area complete with fire place where you can relax with a good book on chilly days. Outside a large wooden deck overlooks an expansive lawn area and the 2 inviting swimming pools that resemble natural rock pools. On those sweltering summer days this is the perfect place to simply chill – and who knows, perhaps you might even be joined by BFE, Nambiti’s most famous elephant bull, on the hillside in search of his next meal!
