Tshokwane River Camp is Kruger Untamed’s original camp – the first of its kind in the Kruger National Park park. Located in a region that’s considered the beating heart of the Kruger National Park, a few kilometres from the legendary Tshokwane picnic site, the camp is perfectly placed to deliver unrivalled access to this area’s prolific wildlife and the dramatic landscapes that unfold along the seasonal Ripape River.

Set beneath towering jackalberry and apple leaf trees, 30 beautifully appointed luxury safari tents hug the riverbed, each unit measuring 24 square metres – a private oasis where you can unwind after an exciting day of game drives. These accommodations are equipped with front and rear doors, side windows, and a covered patio, along with en-suite facilities. The tents are specifically designed for a peaceful night’s rest for guests by providing fresh linen, comfy duvets, warm soft blankets, and hot-water bottles for added warmth in winter. Each tent also has a hot shower and toilet en-suite, further extending guests’ comfort.

In addition to carpet, a queen bed with a mattress, bedside tables, and a vanity mirror, each tent also features electrical outlets to charge mobile devices or for devices deemed medically necessary.
