The Thornybush Nature Reserve is a private Big Five nature reserve which is part of the Greater Kruger National Park, South Africa.
DESCRIPTION:
Situated along the Timbavati River known for its abundance of dense grass and trees, this region is home to an array of wildlife. Siviti Luxury Safari Lodge is a unique and luxurious lodge in the southern section of Thornybush Private Nature Reserve, which forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park.
While staying at Siviti you will enjoy endless views of curious and thirsty animals roaming around. Relax at the main deck watching animals graze while taking a dip in the rim-flow pool or, from the shaded waters of your private plunge pool. Siviti is perfectly placed within the midst of the untamed African bushveld, where you will experience unsurpassed game viewing opportunities blended seamlessly with personalized service and prime amenities.
This intimate lodge boasts six private suites as well as the Timbavati Villa which features two suites. All the suites and villas offer elegant furnishings that filter through to the main lodge area offering guests a home away from home experience!
Overlooking the Timbavati River, this area is frequented by herds of elephants, antelope, leopards and colourful birds to name just a few stars in what can only be described as a vast diversity of species which can be seen on safari at Siviti. There’s a relaxed and personal ambience that creates a sense of being in a private home in the heart of the African bush.
Each one of the generously-sized Timbavati suites radiates elegance and unrestrained luxury! Slide the floor-to-ceiling glass doors wide open to welcome the African bushveld in, offering you a magical wildlife experience from the comfort of a King-size extra-length bed (or two extra-length twin beds) or your indoor lounge. With infinite views of the Timbavati River, game viewing can also be enjoyed from your exclusive decked terrace, skinny dipping in a private sparkling pool whilst sipping on a gin-tail!
Bask in a newfound romance at bath time! The wide glass views enclosing a Victorian bathtub allow your imagination to run wild, captivated by the glorious vista of an African star-lit sky. OUR TIPS:
Twice daily game drives typically depart early in the morning and late in the afternoon, however the well trained rangers and trackers do not work to the clock and can be flexible to suit the wishes of the guests.
