Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, which is a wildlife-rich concession of land adjoining the western border of the Kruger National Park.

DESCRIPTION:

The private nature of this wilderness sanctuary enables one to embrace the African bushveld in one’s own time. Situated on 3000 hectares in the heart of the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve within the Greater Kruger National Park, every experience is exclusively offering an intimate peek into nature at its rawest.

Opening in early 2026, Amani Safari Camp is the newest addition to the Klaserie Drift portfolio - a place where laidback luxury meets unfiltered nature. Nestled deep in a private part of the Greater Kruger, Amani offers sweeping bushveld views, peaceful seclusion, and an experience that’s as thoughtful as it is unforgettable.

Designed with both connection and comfort in mind, the camp features three spacious lodge suites designed for comfort and accessibility, and seven riverbed suites for extra privacy and indulgence. Whilst the lodge suites have easy access to all shared facilities, including the main pool, each riverbed suites boasts a private heated plunge pool, elegant interiors, and the freedom to unwind at your own pace. Guests can relax on the wraparound deck, enjoy a swim between game drives, or toast the day’s sightings beneath the stars in the boma.

Sustainability is woven into everything we do - from solar energy and water-wise systems to locally sourced ingredients and low-impact design. Whether visiting as a couple, family, or part of an exclusive-use group, Amani is a place to pause, reset, and be fully present in the wild.

At Amani, luxury is more than a suite - it’s a feeling that flows through every part of the experience. The heart of the lodge features a spacious open-plan living and dining area, a peaceful spa and wellness zone, a fully equipped gym, and a sparkling pool that looks out over the surrounding bushveld. Guests are invited to unwind on wraparound decks, sip cocktails at the outdoor bar, or gather around the crackling boma fire beneath the stars.

In addition, for much of the year, guests can enjoy access to our second lodge area - a beautifully designed extension of the main camp featuring a heated pool, expansive sundeck, sunken boma, and its own relaxed lounge and dining space. This secluded setting offers even more space to unwind, soak up the sun, or celebrate special moments with loved ones.

Two guided game drives are offered daily, scheduled at the guests’ leisure. Guides provide insight into the workings of the bushveld, the traits of the animals seen on the drive and the diverse terrain and plant life, varying from flat planes to rocky outcrops and hilly landscapes. The Klaserie is home to a wide variety of predators, including lion, leopard, smaller cats, spotted hyenas, jackals and wild dogs. As such, the thrill of witnessing a kill looms around every corner. Buffalo, rhino, hippo, giraffe, elephant, a variety of buck, an array of birdlife, baboons, monkeys, and mongooses can be spotted daily – to name but a few.
